This artwork is heavily inspired by the fairy tale of "Pinocchio". The dragon treasures a dream, just like Pinocchio: he wants to become real, and not just a puppet that is unable to feel the simple pleasure of being alive. The orb stands for his dream he wants to catch, but he is restricted by the shackle on his arm. This work as a whole is a symbolic piece. August 2007.
